Boehringer Ingelheim PRRS Awards

Although animal health companies, researchers, scientists, veterinary practitioners, pig producers, and other professionals of the swine industry have worked very hard for many years; Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS) still represents a high cost and challenge for pork production.

Therefore, at Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health GmbH, we're furthering our commitment to research innovation and efforts by funding research projects related with PRRS control.


 

American PRRS awards

Over 12 years, more than $1M has been awarded by BIVI and an independent board to fund 40 PRRS research projects to support the industry in understanding one of the most economically impactful diseases in the U.S. swine market.

Boehringer Ingelheim will provide three € 25.000 awards to fund the winning PRRS research studies in Europe. Candidates included any person involved in the swine industry in Europe, including Russia. Areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, research, ...
